Alexandra Gusinsky is a registered psychotherapist and counsellor for mental health in Toronto, with experience in a wide range of treatment modalities. Using the form of therapy best suited to your unique needs, personality and circumstances, I will gently guide you as you explore and challenge your beliefs and ways of thinking, and delve into some of the more painful or troubling aspects of your past.
I recognize that it can be difficult for many people to seek help. I aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and provide a safe environment to anyone who needs it. My soothing space is free of judgment and conducive to healing, and to releasing feelings of guilt and shame and letting them go.

People who are trying to navigate a major life event, such as bereavement, separation or job loss
People who are trying to overcome addictions, or who need maintenance therapy following graduation from an inpatient addiction rehab treatment program

My treatment programs begin with an assessment, during which we will get to know you and learn about the areas of your life that you wish to work on. The treatment methods used will depend on who you are, your preferred methods of communication and expression, and your unique set of needs, circumstances and beliefs. In some cases, I may use a blend of two or more treatment methods.
